Money – including limited-edition coins, old currency, and now-obsolete foreign coins – has always proven valuable to collectors. Coin collecting has become a hobby that many are drawn to, with people spending hours scouring the internet and various auction sites to obtain rare currency to add to their collections.
And check under your floorboards! Whilst renovating their kitchen in 2019, a couple in North Yorkshire found a small earthenware cup, smaller than a soft drink can, with more than 260 gold coins dating from 1610 to 1727. The coins were valued at up to £265,000.
