Lovely pair of distinctive Belgian Faïencerie Thulin drip glaze vases, in shades of cobalt blue and brown, dating circa 1920s. In excellent condition.
The Thulin faïence pottery, near Mons in Belgium, was founded in 1887 by the industrialist Victor Ducobu-Decaudin (d. 1897) in an old sugar refinery. The firm operated from 1887 through to the 1970s and was especially noted for its art pottery decorated with crystalline and running glazes.
