A stunning, professionally polished 1950s Berkey Technical 2251 theatre spotlight (please note the shorter one in the main image is sold; it's the left-hand one for sale).
Salvaged from an old-school cinema in Devon, where it was used for ornamental purposes, in original painted condition.
The fresnel lens is protected by a wire mesh – unusual to see – and we’ve also had the original barn doors stripped and polished.
The pictures were taken pre-electrical refurbishment – we have since rewired each (via the original switch at the rear of the light) with a standard E27 light bulb, 2m woven flex and plug.
The vintage tripod is steel with bronze fittings, and castor wheels.
