Rare fully brass (with aluminium propellor) Japanese vintage nautical anemometer.
The base is sold cast brass – heavy – featuring a manufacturer’s plate, which states:
FAN ANEMOMETER AND WIND VANE SENSOR (GENERATOR & SELSYN) with a date (for this specific photographed item; others will be similarly old) of October 1992.
A stunning, sculptural design piece.
